The Mark on the Wall: A Legacy Painted Into Our Space
When you walk into Ascend Sports Medicine, the first thing you might notice is the bold logo painted on our wall. It’s more than just a visual centrepiece—it’s a piece of our story.
This mark, beautifully hand-painted by @sidewaysgaze, is a stylized version of a cattle brand that’s been in the Amrine family for generations. Known as the Lazy A, it’s a half-circle A that’s been in the family for decades. We’ve reimagined it for our practice, not just as a nod to Dr. Amrine’s roots, but as a symbol of the values we carry forward: hard work, heritage, and a deep respect for the people we serve.
Branding cattle once marked ownership. Today, it represents a clinic rooted in movement, community, and care. We’re honored to bring that spirit to Missoula.
